really found the secret…you have. DO you know Michael, you rock. I have been soaking up all of the great info you offer on your site. Great videos. You’ve inspired me to believe this eating protocol can be extraordinarily successful for health and fitness long-term. We need to encourage each other and share the journey. Thank you for keeping your site NON-COMMERCIAL. People who feel the need to “charge” for their health “secrets” haven’t really found the secret. I would love to see you make some videos about troubleshooting during the transition phase. Cristi |

Hey! I’ll see you at Robinson Flat aid station at Western States next weekend. I just ran the San Diego 100 (injury=DNF). My diet is about 80% fruit and the further I go into it the better I get! Don’t know if I’ll convince my legs to move quite so fast but I’m certainly speeding up and gaining strength and endurance with more foods I begin to cut out. I live in my truck and don’t have a place to cook so I just eat lots of fruit: bananas, apples, oranges, etc. You’ve inspired me to cut everything else out but the few salads and see what happens. Good luck at WS100! |

Hey Michael. I’ve enjoyed getting to know you through your Youtube videos and blog over at 30bad. You sold me on 80/10/10 when you talked about the diet allowing you to recover quickly enough to do doubles so frequently. I’ve been on 80/10/10 for 27 days now, and I’m feeling better each day. I’ve got 3 marathons lined up for the fall and will start doing ultras next year. I turned 40 a couple weeks ago and I think if I stay on the diet I’ll soon be running faster than ever. Have fun at Western States and thanks for the inspiration. |
